On Saturday, December 18, 2010 N.S.E. presents the Hip Hop ONE LOVE Christmas party!

N.S.E. (New Stream Eternity) clothing company is sponsoring the “ONE LOVE” Hip Hop party to celebrate the coming together of people to hear great music.

The holiday event will be featuring THC , Crazy Mic, Lil’ E, Soul J, MC Tang, and TWBeatbox.com. Featured DJs are Mixter-T, D-tore,and Ooh Child.

The party is 8 PM-12 AM all you can drink, and is located at Juliana’s, behind SOGO on Zhong Xiao E. Road, Taipei.

Peacefest spirit, gearing up

Meeting under banyan trees in ShiDa Rd. park, organizers of this year’s Hoping for Hoping “Peacefest” gathered for the first of weekly discussions, on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Peacefest fans may be pleasantly surprised with the decision to hold this year’s music festival on mild Nov. 6-8, rather than in June, when record-breaking scorchers, and drizzles, have been likely to occur.

My mom is mostly Caucasian and my father is Chinese. They divorced when I was young, so my youth was spent going in between two houses. This meant going between two totally different and often opposite cultures. It gives me a unique perspective on ethnicity and culture.
