    Dear Fellow DA Taiwan Members,

It was great to see so many old friends and new faces at the DA Taiwan election meeting last night. Thanks to everyone who helped ensure this election ran smoothly — the Nominations Committee (Paul Batt, Gabe Seydewitz and David Bell), who handled the communications and recruitment of possible candidates through to the 2009-2011 board members who helped with checking out venues and making phone calls to ensure this would be a very happy meeting.

Your 2011-2013 Board of Directors, elected at the DA Taiwan election meeting are as follows in alphabetical order:

    1. Graham Dart
    2. Trista di Genova
    3. John Eastwood
    4. Jason Echols
    5. Michelle Lynn Senczi
    6. Tammy Turner
    7. Michael Turton

The board will meet shortly and, at that meeting, vote on the chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer and counsel positions.

The Board of Supervisors consists of:
    1. David Bell
    2. Cynthia Teeters

After several years of heading up DA Taiwan, I will step down as the country committee chair to serve on the board as a member-at-large. As some of you are aware, I’ve got some new duties as the new International Counsel on the Democrats Abroad Executive Committee. In that role, I will try to help DA country committees around the world with legal compliance, dispute resolution and various other matters.

    Warm regards,

    John
    Outgoing DA-Taiwan Chair
    DPCA International Counsel
